The next Clan Sutherland Society in Scotland Gathering will be held in EDINBURGH in July 2009 to coincide with "The Gathering 2009" mentioned below. Friday, 24th July 2009 : Registration and the 32nd Annual General Meeting followed by a Buffet. Saturday, 25th July 2009 : Highland Games followed by a Parade up The Royal Mile with a Pageant in Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. Sunday, 26th July 2009 : More Highland Games followed by the Clan Sutherland Society in Scotland Formal Dinner Monday, 27th July 2007 : Bus Tour to the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Museum at Stirling Castle with a visit to the Famous Grouse Distillery in Crieff. Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th July 2009
An International Gathering of Scottish Clans will be held in Edinburgh Castle Esplanade. This Gathering is being hosted by the Standing Council of Scottish Clans and we know that many Clan Associations will attend. www.thegathering2009.com
